INGRID SCHYBORGER is a double bassist and composer from Stockholm whose music moves between jazz and chamber music. Growing up in a home filled with instruments, she began playing piano at five, followed by cello and electric bass at nine. At seventeen, she discovered the double bass and immediately fell in love with the instrument.

Childhood summers in the Swedish countryside remain a source of inspiration. The memory of walking alone through the forest, hearing birds and creaking trees, runs through her music alongside reflections on humanity and our relationship with the natural world.

Her writing brings lyrical melodies together with rhythmic playfulness and space for improvisation. Within the compositions, the musicians listen and respond to one another, allowing their individual voices and shared spontaneity to shape the music.
